We have been running competitions for the Children of the parish over the last few weeks, to help keep them busy and motivated by learning something new and giving them prizes. We appreciate that they are going through an incredibly tough time not seeing their friends, being at school or seeing their grandparents, etc. The response we have received from parents has been phenomenal.
The winner of last weeks photography/drawing competition was Harley, age 9, for sending us this snap of ‘fly alley’. The description made us smile and may even be used as a reference for the alley, for us internally moving forward!
“We use this path to get to school and it’s become a favourite in our family. We have competitions to run down it the fastest and see how long we can hold our breath so we don’t eat any of the many flies that always seem to be there.”
Great job Harley, your prize is on its way to you!
