Emergencies

The Parish Council has worked with the Borough Council to develop a plan to help and assist parishioners in emergency situations.

The Parish Council Office is the central contact point for local people to get advice and help in cases of emergencies.

The Parish Council has a small team of volunteers in place which can be mobilised and called upon given a civil emergency. We have direct access to the emergency services, have organised local evacuation centres and can offer help and advice for any type of civil emergency.

The Parish Council can be contacted on 01793 722446 and Swindon Borough Council can be contacted 24 hours a day should an emergency occur on 01793 463000.

Please contact the Council if you would like to be contacted should there be a warning of a possible emergency, or if you would be prepared to act as a key contact in your area to cascade information to other residents.
